Alba painter has lived in France since 1988 and currently works in Bordeaux. She was born in Bilbao, in the north of Spain. She grew up in a warm, art-sensitive environment, and returns regularly to recharge her batteries in her native city, where contemporary art has been making its mark for some years now, with numerous galleries and the famous Guggenheim Museum.

From her Basque roots, she claims her culture of the innate, the spontaneous, the direct. Her willing exile, her dual identity and her many trips around the world have shaped her outlook. His desire to understand human nature has forged his international culture. Her artistic career, which has taken her far from the academic and institutional pathways, has grown out of this cultural mix.

Through her contact with a number of established and renowned artists, such as the Italian painter Libero, she has acquired an essential grounding that she has been quick to adapt to her own creativity.
